Hasiru Dala Innovations—a non-profit engaged with marginalised waste workers in Bengaluru, handles the complete waste management at the Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium, and transports the used flex to another NGO Swabhinann
IPL franchisee team Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) not only turns out in green for the matches but has also adopted green practices. RCB in association with Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) and Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) has taken the pioneering initiative to ensure that all flexes displayed during the matches are responsibly collected and recycles for various re-use purposes.
Hasiru Dala Innovations—a non-profit engaged with marginalised waste workers in Bengaluru, handles the complete waste management at the Chinnaswamy Cricket Stadium, and transports the used flex to another NGO Swabhinann. “The NGO working for the slums recycles them into bags and rooftops for the slum area people to use,” shared Shekhar Prabhakar, Co-Founder & Managing Director, Hasiru Dala Innovations.
