With a large captive audience, railway media is arguably one of the most compelling advertising avenues for a gamut of brands. In recent times, sweeping policy changes have changed the contours of railway media investments and advertising. Given that Karnataka has extensive railway networks, it was in the fitness of things for railway media to become major branding destinations.
Sridharamurthy N S, Sr. Divisional Commercial Manager, Bangalore Division, South Western Railway (SWR), will speak about the emerging investment opportunities in this space in his address on the theme of ‘How OOH industry can tap into Railway media opportunities’ at the upcoming Karnataka Talks OOH Conference that will be held at Royal Orchid hotel, HAL Airport Road, Bengaluru on February 9.
Sridharamurthy is credited with several pioneering initiatives that have contributed to the growth of commercial revenues for the Railways. As the Senior Divisional Commercial Manager, Bangalore Division, South Western Railway (SWR), he is assiduously creating attractive avenues for railway media investments.
Sridharamurthy joined the Indian Railway Traffic Service in 2006. Earlier, he was Secretary to General Manager, South Western Railway.
