Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) Network, the world’s 12th largest Metro system in terms of both length and number of stations, sees huge movement of people every day, which is a compelling case for brands of all hues to establish significant presence on the DMRC Networks. While the DMRC networks have been attracting mass brands, the moot question is, can the network bring a large number of high-end brands into its fold. Is the Mero environment conducive for the media owners in this space to pitch to premium brands.

Sharat Sharma, Director (Operations), DMRC will touch upon this aspect in his address on the theme “How Metro networks can attract high-end brands to advertise on Metro media at the upcoming Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) 2016 in Gurgaon during June 17-18.

Mr Sharma is working as Director (Operations) with DMRC since January 2013. An electrical engineer by profession with working experience of over 37 years, he has been in the Senior Management cadre of DMRC for 15 years.

Prior to his DMRC tenure, Mr Sharma worked in the Railway Open Line as Director / Safety, Ministry of Railways for 7 years, coordinated and handled safety of all zonal railways, formulated safety plans, assisted Parliamentary Affairs related to safety of Indian Railways, Khanna Safety Commission, Garg Safety Commission, etc. Mr Sharma has extensive experience in handling consultancy assignments for other metros in India.
