Century Group fast-tracks station branding biz
The OOH firm has sole ad rights at 89 railway stations in Bihar and aims to become the largest player in station branding in the eastern zone
Century Group of Companies, one of the leading OOH firms in Bihar, has recently bagged the sole advertising rights at 89 (entire Danapur Division) major railway stations in Bihar including Patna Junction.
Shashi Kumar Chaudhary, Director and Partner, Century Group of Companies, told Outdoor Asia: “We have created more than 40,000 sq. ft. of hoarding space (multi-poles), LED signages, front building GSB signages, unique four-sided lit-display unit on poles and pillars, and foot-overbridge display. Thus, the total display area adds up to more than 1 lakh sq. ft. So far we have 10 lakh sq. ft of space in total under our jurisdiction.
The sectors which are spending the most in outdoor media on these formats are banking and education, while other categories include – consumer goods, insurance and hosiery products.
While informing about the most popular media formats mostly taken by the brands at the Railway Junction area, he said that “unipoles, hoardings, gantries, kiosks and front station building display are the most in demand. In terms of innovation, for the first time we have introduced ultra slim LED back lit display boards (4 sided) on platform pillars. We aim to become a leading player in the Eastern zone in terms of railway station branding.
