Right people make a difference in OOH business: Arghya Chakravarty
Speaking on the theme”How to attract the best talent to build OOH business competitiveness — pros and cons at the Outdoor Advertising Convention 2015 that was held in Mumbai during July 24-25, Arghya Chakravarty, CEO, Times OOH, elaborated on the best HR practices that the industry should look to adopt, nourish and persevere.
Speaking on the theme “How to attract the best talent to build OOH business competitiveness — pros and cons at the Outdoor Advertising Convention 2015 that was held in Mumbai during July 24-25, Arghya Chakravarty, CEO, Times OOH, elaborated on the best HR practices that the industry should look to adopt, nourish and persevere.
Stating that talent is a key differentiator in the industry, he said that people with data analytical skills will need to be encouraged. They need to be oriented to understand the clients need.
In this context he said it was important to attract the right talent, build the organisation around talented people and thereby drive business growth.
On attracting talent to the organisation, Arghya said that the organisation connects with reputed institutes through the alumni networks.
Arghya spoke about how Times OOH conducts the induction programmes for young people who join the organisation. He also covered aspects like Performance Management, Reward and Recognition, etc.
