Zepto turns Poila Boishakh into a playful OOH moment
Paired with “Shubho Noboborsho from GO DESi x Zepto,” the messaging seamlessly blends brand presence with cultural relevance.
Zepto brought the spirit of Poila Boishakh to the streets of Kolkata with a culturally rooted yet playful out-of-home campaign, created in collaboration with GO DESi.
At the heart of the campaign is a simple, delightful visual: a pack of traditional Bengali sweets appears to “roll out” of a Zepto delivery bag and straight into a character’s mouth. This motion-led creative adds a layer of humour and surprise, transforming a static hoarding into a moment of storytelling.
The line “aar ekta…” (one more…) further grounds the campaign in local culture, tapping into a universally relatable festive behaviour, the irresistible urge to have just one more sweet during celebrations. Paired with “Shubho Noboborsho from GO DESi x Zepto,” the messaging seamlessly blends brand presence with cultural relevance.
Executed across key locations in Kolkata, the campaign uses familiar festive cues, authentic Bengali sweets, local language, and exaggerated expression, to connect with audiences in an immediate and engaging way.
By integrating product, culture, and motion within a single visual frame, Zepto reinforces its quick-commerce promise while staying rooted in the context of the occasion. The result is a campaign that doesn’t just wish consumers, but participates in the celebration, adding a layer of joy, indulgence, and relatability to the festive landscape.
