With ‘The Crown’, Netflix dominates Western Mumbai OOH
Hoardings lined up across the roads and flyovers depict the royal characters of ‘The Crown’ to create buzz for the second season of the period drama centered around Queen Elizabeth II
After the promotion of shows like ‘The Stranger things’, ‘Punisher’ on OOH space near Mahim Causeway, ‘The Crown’ is set on the large format displays at the same place. The Bandra-Worli area is targeted heavily when it comes to advertising Hollywood movies or web-series as such. The reason for such specific promotion is that the surrounding has presence of many colleges hence a large chunk of young movie buffs can be attracted easily.
Written by Peter Morgan and produced by Left bank Pictures and Sony Pictures Television for Netflix, the show will start streaming from December 8, 2017. The series spans over six seasons so a lot more related OOH campaigns will line up along Bandra Rail Over Bridge.
