NZ Post uses hyperlocal OOH to remind New Zealanders of their nearest branch
The campaign is created and executed by Thinkerbell Aotearoa
NZ Post has launched a hyperlocal outdoor advertising campaign across New Zealand designed to help customers easily locate their nearest post shop following recent changes across its retail network.
Created and executed by Thinkerbell Aotearoa, the campaign transforms simple wayfinding into a visually distinctive OOH experience by using tailored directions and custom-designed creative for individual locations across the country.
With more than 560 NZ Post retail locations operating nationwide, the core message behind the campaign is straightforward: no matter where Kiwis are, a branch is always nearby.

To communicate this, the campaign uses NZ Post’s signature visual identity and turns it into directional storytelling. Curved graphic pathways flow across billboards, street furniture and large-format outdoor sites, visually guiding audiences toward nearby branches with lines such as “We’re just around the corner” and “We’re across the river.”

What makes the campaign particularly notable is its scale and localisation. More than 250 bespoke OOH creatives were developed, each customised to the geography and positioning of a specific branch location. Instead of deploying a single national creative, every execution was adapted to its surrounding environment, making the campaign feel relevant and contextual to the audience viewing it.
