In honour of Louis Braille’s birth anniversary week, the Public Health Office of the SVKM’s Dr Bhanuben Nanavati College of Pharmacy in Mumbai conducted a fun and interactive event called ‘Nazar Aur Nazariya’ at Growel’s 101 Mall in Kandivali, Mumbai on January 6.

The event aimed to educate the public about Braille’s importance and dispel misconceptions about the abilities of visually impaired individuals.

Growel’s 101 Mall has a history of participating in initiatives that benefit the community, such as donating anti-pollution masks to the Mumbai Traffic Police, supporting solar lamp donations to tribal residents of the SGNP, and beautifying the flyover wall near the mall entrance.

Growel’s 101 mall is a mix of fashion, hypermarket, consumer durables, department stores, books, health & beauty, family entertainment centres, fine dining restaurants, a food court, and a 4-screen multiplex. With popular retailers like PVR, Centro, Pantaloons, Max, Miniso, AND, W, Levi’s, Croma, Starbucks, Burger King and McDonald’s.
