Times OOH bags ad rights to BMTC's new terminal at Whitefield

The larger than life site can be used as one spectacular format, or as multiple smaller media units carrying diverse brand messages.

In a move to extend the footprint in South India, Times OOH has entered into an 11 year partnership with GS Media to gain marketing rights to the Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation's (BMTC) new bus terminal near the International Technology Park (ITPL), Whitefield.
The key media offering is a 55ft(w)*65ft(h) façade display at the terminal building - a high impact OOH vehicle targeting traffic moving from ITPL towards the SAP Labs headquarters and vice versa. The larger than life site can be used as one spectacular format, or as multiple smaller media units carrying diverse brand messages. The terminal building also presents a great opportunity for building landmark Neon signage, which can be exploited for long term brand building among a niche audience by top brands.

The BMTC terminal, centrally located in this zone caters to a dominantly SEC A professional audience, who commute to and fro the city and the Tech Park for work as well as leisure.

Commenting on the acquisition, Sunder Hemrajani, MD Times OOH, said, "Bengaluru has the highest concentration of HNI youth in India as per a TOI report. Consequently media owners have been vying to gain a larger share of the ad pie here since long, and in this context, the BMTC Whitefield acquisition is sweet success for Times OOH! This not only extends our foothold in the South market, but also allows us to better service regional as well as national players targeting an urban audience base. Categories like Banking, Fashion & Lifestyle, Travel & Hospitality, Real Estate and Auto looking to make a clutter-breaking proposition to premium consumers should find this media especially appealing!”
