The Chennai-based OOH firm has launched online payment options and Lease Your Media option on their website, which brings both parties involved on a common ground
Chennai based Podhigai Ads has taken a few initiatives towards better deals for both media owners and direct clients. Targeted across Tamil Nadu, Karnataka and Mumbai markets, Podhigai Ads has introduced the ‘Lease your Media’ option which connects various media owners across the online platform. This module enables media owners, holding media assets, to upload their asset images along with details such as the size of the media and location on the official site of the Podhigai Ads. The biggest advantage is that the OOH firm helps zero down on the media owner directly and thus save a lot of money for the advertisers. As a result, Podhigai Ads gets access to premium media at a better cost and is therefore able to pay the media owners without any delay.
In addition, Podhigai Ads has introduced the online feature ‘Pay Online’ which helps advertisers make payments online using various options including Paytm, Ola Money, etc., along with other options like credit cards, UPI, etc.
“We are always keen on including technology into the traditional OOH business which benefits both our media owners & advertisers. Now we have made media acquisition simple. Even a single media owner can upload the media photo and we will certainly revert. The ‘Leasing your Media’ & Pay Online’ which we brought into our website has given us tremendous support in acquiring new premium media and more importantly, our prompt payment terms help us retain those media. We are also proud to say that we have brought these online methodologies for the first time in India.” shares Madan Seeni, Director, Podhigai Ads, India.
Any advertisers of Podhigai Ads can obtain premium media across South India at a very low cost, as the firm uses the latest technology to select the media directly from the media owners and pass on the benefits to the advertisers.
“As we move on to the expansion side, the only challenge is the time to study the particular market before investing in that OOH space and we also examine the government policies that may be an impediment to the growth of OOH in some states. We don’t find ourselves in any competition during the pitch as we have our own set of premium exclusive media assets across multiple metros so we are able to offer media in a package to our advertisers. We are also taking advantage of our professional media and operational team which executes the campaign well before the deadline. Along with this we have our own monitoring team across the states in South India to monitor the running campaigns,” adds Madan Seeni, who is directly associated with national brands such as Soch, Dr. Agarwals Eye Hospital, Britannia, Haier, Hatsun, Croma, Lifestyle, iD Fresh, Godrej, Reliance Industries and Future Retail.
Recently the OOH firm executed outdoor campaigns for Equitas Small Finance Bank at prominent locations using bus bays in Saidapet and Tambaram along with premium hoardings in Mount Road, Besant Nagar and Chetpet in Chennai, besides Hubli and Shimoga in Karnataka and Jalandar in Punjab.
