Use of technology in the retail space is a given today, what with emerging new dynamics in shopper behaviour, the inevitable need to integrate all consumer touchpoints and the challenges that offline retailers face in a digitally driven, e-comm led environment.
But technology in the retail space is an expansive, grey area that entails multiple aspects - from back-end operations including supply chain and inventory management, to front-end experiential value-additions, customer relationship management and data analysis, among others.
