Century Group of Companies erecting unipoles with surveillance facility

Century Group of Companies has set up new unipoles in two cities of Bihar — Arrah and Gaya – after winning a contract via tender floated by the local authorities. Currently Arrah has 35 unipoles and Gaya 29. Further, the company is planning to erect 200 unipoles in different cities of Bihar which will include locations such as Purnia. Along with the media, the company has installed CCTV cameras on these sites for the city surveillance purpose as a CSR and will be maintaining them.

The company has given the direct control and live feed of these cameras to the SPs of the respective cities.
