Patna Airport invites bid for sole rights

The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has invited bids for the sole advertisement rights at Jaiprakash Narayan Airport, Patna airport. The advertising rights include approximately 10,000 sq. ft display space.  The rights will be allotted as the’two-packet’ system from interested parties through e-tendering. The duration of the rights will be five years. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required is Rs.7.21 lakh and the minimum reserve license fee per month is Rs. 20,02,500.
 
According to the eligibility criteria, applicants need to have a minimum experience of three years in the advertisement display business at transportation centers like airports, seaports, railways, metro rail stations etc. Also they should have an annual turnover of Rs.1,20,15,000. Applicants will have to submit the EMD in the form of a pay order or demand draft, drawn in favor of AAI, payable at Patna. The original EMD instrument should be submitted to AAI in a sealed envelope on or before the date of opening of the online technical bid.
 
Tender documents indicating full details of the contract is available on the website. Applicants can participate in the bid by paying an amount of Rs. 15,000 towards the tender document cost up to 2.30pm on April 25, 2013. Duly completed bids should be submitted online through e-tendering latest by 3 pm on April 25, 2013. The technical bids will be opened on the same day at 3.30pm.
