Northern Railway calls for two bids for five years

The Northern Railway, New Delhi has invited two bids for advertisement rights for Delhi area (contract-1) and other than Delhi area (contract-2). Both the contracts will be treated under the’two-packet’ system., where the duration of both contracts is five years. The contracts includes 1,35,758.58 sq. ft display space in and around the railway. The earnest money deposit (EMD) required for contract-1 is Rs. 28,45,345 and for conract-2, is Rs. 26,79.867. Both the contracts will be treated separately. The cost of the tender document for each contract is Rs. 10,000.
According to the contract, applicants should have a minimum experience of two years in the field of commercial advertisement and should have executed at least one similar work of a minimum value of 50 percent of the advertised reserve price for this tender, which may even be outside the Railways. Applicants will have to submit the EMD in the form of a demand draft or FDR, issued by any scheduled commercial bank, drawn in favour of the Sr. DFM, Northern Railway, New Delhi along with the bids. The tender documents will be available up to 4.30pm on April 24, 2013 and the tenders will disclose on the same day at 3.30pm.
