UPMRC’s LKAR-11 tender offers a multi-format advertising opportunity across the Charbagh–Transport Nagar stretch, including station media and semi-naming rights.
The Uttar Pradesh Metro Rail Corporation (UPMRC) has invited bids under Tender LKAR-11 for a multi-format advertising opportunity across Lucknow Metro. The tender covers semi-naming rights and inside-station advertising across eight stations, along with advertising rights on the outside civil structures from Charbagh to Transport Nagar.
The eight stations covered are Charbagh, Durgapuri, Mawaiya, Alambagh Bus Stand, Alambagh, Singar Nagar, Krishna Nagar and Transport Nagar. Advertisers can opt for semi-naming rights for a minimum of three stations, subject to UPMRC approval, with each selected station carrying a minimum six-month commitment.
Inside the stations, the opportunity includes backlit and frontlit panels, non-lit media and LED/digital formats, with a total inventory of 1,030.76 sq m across the eight stations. This comprises 508.83 sq m of backlit/frontlit media, 321.23 sq m of non-lit media and 200.70 sq m of LED/digital inventory.
The tender also offers advertising rights across the elevated civil structures along the full Charbagh–Transport Nagar stretch. The selected licensee will be responsible for fabrication, installation and commissioning of the advertising panels as per UPMRC specifications.
The licence period is set at nine years, with a three-year lock-in and a 6% annual escalation in the licence fee. Payments will be made quarterly in advance, while a maximum 75-day rent-free fitment period has been provided.
For eligibility, bidders need an average annual turnover of at least ₹4.98 crore across FY2023-24, FY2024-25 and FY2025-26, a positive net worth and relevant advertising-sector experience as specified in the tender.
The tender went on sale on August 24, 2026. The pre-bid meeting is scheduled for September 1 at 3 pm, while bid submissions will open on September 9 at 11 am and close on September 15 at 3 pm. The tender is listed under Tender ID 2026_UPMRC_288717_1 on the government e-tendering portal.
The opportunity comes as Lucknow Metro continues to build ridership, with the network currently recording an average daily ridership of around 97,000 and a single-day record of 1.30 lakh passengers, according to the tender document.
