The Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) has floated three fresh tenders offering advertising opportunities across its metro network, covering train advertising, station co-branding and indoor advertising inventory.

One of the tenders invites bids for exclusive advertising rights on Line-2 trains, covering both static advertising inside the trains and exterior train wrapping. The current Line-2 network has 64 trains comprising 512 coaches. The selected advertiser will be permitted to use up to 11% of the total train coaches, with provisions to use additional coaches subject to the tender conditions. The contract does not include digital advertising.

The train advertising contract will have a nine-year tenure, extendable by another six years on mutually agreed terms. A two-year lock-in period will apply, while the licence fee will be subject to an annual compounded escalation. Five per cent of the available advertising space will also be reserved for DMRC campaigns, social activities and messages.

A second tender offers exclusive co-branding rights at seven selected metro stations outside Delhi. The stations include Shaheed Sthal, Arthala, Shyam Park, Shaheed Nagar, Kaushambi, Bahadurgarh City and Johri Enclave.

The co-branding package provides advertisers with rights extending beyond conventional media inventory. Depending on the station category, the package can include branding of the station name, indoor and outdoor advertising space, retail space, canopies, indoor and outdoor colour branding and audio advertising inside trains at the co-branded station.

The co-branding licence will run for 10 years, with an option to extend it by another five years. A two-year lock-in period and a 120-day fitment period will apply, with the annual licence fee subject to a five per cent compounded escalation.

The third opportunity covers exclusive indoor advertising rights across the Dwarka Mor–Ramakrishna Ashram Marg section of Line-3. The tender covers 19 stations, including Dwarka Mor, Nawada, Uttam Nagar West and East, Janakpuri West, Tilak Nagar, Subhash Nagar, Tagore Garden, Rajouri Garden, Ramesh Nagar, Moti Nagar, Kirti Nagar, Shadipur, Patel Nagar, Rajendra Place, Karol Bagh, Jhandewalan and Ramakrishna Ashram Marg.

The available inventory has a minimum chargeable area of 2,176.10 sq m across the stations, with the chargeable area determined by the minimum specified area or the actual area utilised, whichever is higher. Digital advertising may also be permitted with prior approval from DMRC, subject to the applicable terms of the tender.

This licence will have a nine-year tenure, extendable by another six years, with a two-year lock-in period and a 75-day fitment period.

The tender documents for all three opportunities are available through the DMRC/e-procurement process, with bids for the three opportunities scheduled to be submitted in the first week of November 2026.
