Shekhar Narayanaswami, CEO of Times OOH, elected Chairman of IOAA

Shekhar Narayanaswami, CEO of Times OOH, has been unanimously elected as the new Chairman of the Indian Outdoor Advertising Association (IOAA), taking over from Pawan Bansal.

In his statement as Chairman, Shekhar expressed both gratitude and resolve: “Honoured and humbled to be elected Chairman of the Indian Outdoor Advertising Association (IOAA). I take this as a responsibility to build a fair, transparent, future-ready ecosystem for all concessionaires—strengthening trust and unlocking sustainable growth across Indian OOH.”

With years of experience leading one of India’s largest OOH business, Shekhar steps into the role at a pivotal time for the industry. IOAA continues to work on strengthening regulatory alignment, ensuring ethical practices, and creating growth pathways for stakeholders across the ecosystem.

His election is expected to bring renewed focus on building transparency and collaborative partnerships, positioning Indian OOH for stronger integration with global standards and digital-first opportunities
