The Indian Outdoor Advertising Association (IOAA), has announced the second edition of IOAA Media Owners Awards 2026, aimed at recognizing the contribution made by OOH media owners to the Indian OOH industry. It is essentially a tribute to the extraordinary efforts and resilience demonstrated by media owners in the face of unimaginable odds.
As Shekhar Narayanaswami, Chairman, IOAA, says while talking about the award, “The Indian OOH industry is evolving in remarkable ways. I see professional excellence, genuine innovation, emerging players alongside established leaders, sustainability, design excellence, and women leading with strength. We are reintroducing the IOAA Media Owners Awards to celebrate this transformation. These awards recognize vision, resilience, and commitment across all dimensions of our industry-landmark assets, digital innovation, design excellence, emerging growth, and operational leadership.”
Winners of the OOH Media Owners Awards will be announced on 24th July, 2026, at the Grand Hyatt, Goa, during the OOH Advertising Convention (OAC).
Urging media owners to participate in the award contest, Shekhar adds, “I encourage every media owner to participate. Whether you’ve pioneered a new format, built exceptional assets, embraced sustainability, led with integrity, or simply driven excellence in your work-your achievement deserves recognition.
