Enkon to develop 20 bus shelters in city of Bhubaneswar

Enkon will design and develop 20 bus shelters in Bhubaneswar, having won a contract for the same from the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC). Commenting on this development, Aninda Banerjee, Managing Director, Enkon Advertising, said: “We won this contract on the basis of our previous credentials as we have worked through the PPP model with BMC for various other beautification and developmental projects like public toilet construction.  We submitted our expression of interest and the design for bus shelter keeping in mind the social structure, environment, and how the advertisement should be placed on them.

“The design was accepted as a standard one which is now being followed by other media owners as well for the construction of rest of the bus-shelters, he added.  The contract is for a duration of five years subject to further renewal for another five years on the basis of performance and maintenance.
