DMRC awards co-branding rights at 14 stations to 5 firms
Pioneer Publicity has bagged the rights at 6 stations, while Hindustan Publicity won the rights at 3 stations, Planet Advertising and Torque Communications at two station each and Oriental at one
Delhi Metro Rail Corporation has recently allotted co-branding rights at 14 stations on different lines to 5 separate firms. Pioneer Publicity has bagged the co-branding rights at 6 stations — Sarai – Faridabad, Mewla Maharajpur – Faridabad, Jorbagh – New Delhi, Sukhdev Vihar – Delhi, MIE – Bahadurgarh and Noida Select City – Noida. Hindustan Publicity won the rights at Golf Course station – Noida, Kaushambi – Ghaziabad and Janpath – New Delhi. Planet Advertising and Torque Communications bagged rights at two station each i.e. Bikhaji Cama Place – New Delhi, IP Extension- Delhi and Karol Bagh – Delhi, Noida Sector 16 – Noida, respectively and Oriental bagged the right at Delhi Gate – Delhi. The contracts have been award for 10 years each.
The companies will be constructing various kinds of advertising formats depending upon the contractual terms pertaining to inside and outside the stations.
