Bright Outdoor acquires ad rights on Mumbai Monorail media
The OOH firm has acquired ad rights on the entire lot of pillars supporting the Monorail as well as stickers and handles inside the coaches
Bright Outdoor Media has diversified its media ownership in the city of Mumbai with the acquisition of advertising rights on various media available on the Mumbai Monorail, a project implemented by Mumbai Metropolitan Region Development Authority (MMRDA). The OOH firm has acquired ad rights on the entire lot of pillars supporting the Monorail as well as stickers and handles inside the coaches. Yogesh Lakhani, CMD of the firm told Outdoor Asia that the media on pillars alone add up to over 26,000 sq. ft.
The media acquisition comes on the back of the firm having put up a very large media property near the Worli Sea Link which Lakhani reckons to be the largest OOH property in the city. He added that Bright Outdoor executed some 605 OOH campaigns in 2014, which he said was perhaps a greater number than the aggregated number of campaigns executed by most other OOH agencies.
