LATAM OOH entities form regional body ALOOH
ALOOH has been set up by the Argentine Chamber of OOH, ASOMEDIOS in Colombia and key OOH companies in Mexico and Uruguay; talks are underway to expand the association’s reach to Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and El Salvador
The Argentine Chamber of OOH, representing the industry in Argentina, has joined hands with ASOMEDIOS in Colombia and important OOH companies in Mexico and Uruguay to form the Latin American Out of Home Association (ALOOH). The Association is now in talks with other entities to expand its reach to Brazil, Peru, Costa Rica, Guatemala, Honduras, Panama and El Salvador.
“For the first time in recent history, LATAM has reached an agreement at the regional level that allows us to dialogue with international entities,” said Guillermo De Lella,President of the Argentine Chamber of Advertising OOH and General Secretary of ALOOH.
ALOOH will make its formal presentation to the global industry at the upcoming FEPE Congress in Sorrento, Italy. “The Presidency and the Vice Presidency of ALOOH will be in the hands of Gabriel Cedrone from Mexico and Tulio Angel Arbeláez from Colombia respectively. ALOOH represents more than 25 companies in the region,” he said.
