Delhi HC mandates FIITJEE to display disclaimer with Metro station branding
Further, the disclaimer is to be displayed in the same font, colour and size as that of the FIIT-JEE brand display at the Metro station
The Delhi High Court, upon hearing the IIT-Delhi plea on the issue of FIIT-JEE branding of the Delhi Metro station near IIT-Delhi, has issued an order by which FIIT-JEE is called upon to display a disclaimer along with its advertisements stating that FIIT-JEE is not connected in any way with IIT-Delhi. Further, the disclaimer is to be displayed in the same font, colour and size as that of the FIIT-JEE brand display at the Metro station.
Earlier, IIT-Delhi had taken the legal recourse citing that the Metro statin branding next to the premier institute was creating an impression among the people at large that FIIT-JEE was connected with IIT-Delhi.
