Delhi civic bodies take strong action to check city defacement

All three municipal corporations of Delhi have taken stringent steps to prevent defacement of the cityscape caused by banners. The minimum fee cost has been revised to 5,000 or the exact amount of clean up, whichever is found to be higher. The objective of the move is to effectively implement the Delhi Prevention of Defacement Act.
