Swachh Bharat dustbins create an impact in Jamshedpur
A large number of dustbins are being installed at Jamshedpur and other important industrial towns of Jharkhand, which will work as branding space and also help the city to clean up its streets. Raj Outdoors has taken up this initiative, in-sync with the”Swachh Bharat campaign by the Govt of India.

Talking more on this innovative outdoor activity, Amit Raj, Raj Outdoor Advertising Pvt Ltd, said, “We are involved in almost all branding and CSR initiatives with JISCO and Tata Steel in the state of Jharkhand. This initiative has been taken keeping public interest in mind. All the bins are placed strategically where the “Swachh Bharat logo created by the Govt of India is mandatory. These spaces are also used as branding spaces for them making it a win-win situation for general public and the brands. We will introduce similar outdoor branding in cities like Dhanbad, Bokaro and Ranchi. We are waiting for the road construction process to end in those cities after which the bins will be installed.
These waste bins, installed everywhere as a set of two, caters for dry and wet waste separately and will be managed by JISCO’s waste management teams. To raise awareness amongst public they are also engraved with the tag, “Zimmedaar Nagrik Zimmedaar Shaher. “We are looking for more brands to come with similar brandings of these bins, Raj concluded.
