Skrap finds ways to efficiently collect, recycle flex material
Skrap collected 145 kg of flex waste which was distributed amongst different channels for recycling. A huge chunk was sent to ACC Cement which uses PVC material for their co-processing work
Skrap, a solid waste management company, was associated with the SBI Green Marathon event in Bengaluru to manage their flex material used for the event. Skrap collected 145 kg of flex waste which was distributed amongst different channels for recycling. A huge chunk was sent to ACC Cement which uses PVC material for their co-processing work. Along with that, some amount of flex was also sent to Goonj NGO which recycles the waste material into making bags and other useful utilities for their relief and rehabilitation projects.
Also, Skrap partnered with a major music festival NH7 Weekender held in Pune where this social enterprise managed 1,500 kg of waste. The material was sent to Rudra Environmental Solutions to process the waste into polyfuel.
