OAC returns with 10th edition

OAC 2014 to be held on July 4th and 5th in Goa will also feature for the first time Digital Signage Asia.

An ideal platform for the out of home advertising community, the Outdoor Advertising Convention will hold its 10th edition at the Grand Hyatt in Panjim, Goa.

Aimed at bringing together all the stakeholders of the outdoor advertising industry, including brands, specialist agencies and media owners onto a common forum, OAC has been growing in popularity over the years as is evident from the overwhelming participation in the convention and the response to the much coveted Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA), an integral part of OAC. In fact, this year, the OA Awards will see even more rigorous and stringent regulations, besides some significant changes in the categories. 

A highlight of the event this year, will be the introduction of Digital Signage Asia to the OAC platform. As part of this, Day I of the convention will be completely devoted to Digital OOH, given that this medium is expected to spur the OOH industry in India on the growth path, a fact already proven in the international market. Day two will focus on traditional OOH.

Last year in its 9th edition, OAC saw the introduction of the Breakaway Sessions, a new convention format which had focused presentations running simultaneously catering to different audience groups. The format will continue this year with more breakaway session focused on catering to brands, agency, as well as media owners. These are apart from the main convention sessions.

With an expected audience numbering 500+, OAC 2014 is once again all set to welcome the OOH community to an enriching experience mean to chart the way forward for the industry.
