Kai-Marcus Thäsler, MD of Germany’s Outdoor Media Association to address WOO Milan meet
Smart cities have the potential to be giant social media networks reaching mass audiences

Smart cities are much more than advertising opportunities. Germany’s Kai-Marcus Thäsler will speak on this subject at the World Out of Home Organization’s forthcoming Europe Regional Forum to be held in Milan from November 4-6.
Smart cities have the potential to be giant social media networks reaching mass audiences through targeted campaigns while at the same time making urban life more pleasant and productive.
Thäsler, an acknowledged digital expert, is Managing Director of Germany’s Outdoor Media Association (FAW, Fachverband Aussenwerbung e.V.) and, at the same time, Professor of Digital Marketing at the University of Economy and Management (FOM) in Hanover. He is also a WOO board member.
WOO CMO Richard Saturley says: “Smart cities are the future of Out of Home in many respects and there is no better guide than Kai-Marcus Thäsler to speak on their evolving opportunities as also the pitfalls if they are not developed in a creative, responsible and sustainable way.”
