Factors contributing to the ideal deployment of DOOH site
Mahesh (Mac) Gangam, Shenzhen Atenti Technologies, China presented “Digital billboard site development” at OAC, 2017.
Mahesh spoke about the factors that need to go while going DOOH.
Mahesh mentions, “ The Importance of Location is the prime category: We need to understand which side the digital screen is facing – and if it is facing the sunlight and, if so whether the white balance of the screen, the colour calibration, the wind route, the brightness sensors, the viewing angle, colour purity, colour uniformity – and all need to be considered.
It is also important to understand that ideally the viewing angle should be such that if the height is 10 feet the ideal distance need to be 30 ft. It is also important to consider how that it is built aesthetically and with sturdy foundation.
All in all, one need to also consider using power savers and power monitors so that the cost of installation and maintenance is optimal.
