‘It has been a pleasure to deal with Indian Railways’
Shriranga Sudhakar, Managing Director, Vyoma, talks about the company’s rise as a dominant DOOH media player in the Railways sector, and the plans for the future. Edited excerpts of the interview:
Tell us about your firm’s journey in the DOOH space. What have been the key success factors for your firm?
Every entrepreneurship journey is unique, but the one common trait is, like a roller coaster ride it is both exhilarating and excruciating at the same time. It has been 10 years since Vyoma installed its first intelligent digital engagement display. We started at a time when contextual and real-time advertising in the digital OOH space was a far reaching notion, but with the vision of bringing transformation to outdoor advertising landscape we have hurdled over the status-quo. Now we are India’s largest network with presence in over 350 cities and delivering contextual content to more than 120 million consumers each month.
The most important factor of our success is the quality of talent we have been able to attract with our vision, and today I can proudly say that the expertise and deep rooted understanding our leadership team has developed is unmatched in the industry. With the enthusiasm to be disruptive and inventive at every stage, our team has built the foundation to redefine this space and we are very excited about leading the next phase of growth.
