Salem Division, Southern Railway invites bid for ad display at 6 stations

 The Salem Division of Southern Railway has invited sealed quotations for display of commercial advertisements at six stations over the Salem Division. The six stations are: Coimbatore, Tiruppur, Erode, Karur, Salem Town and Salem.

The tender (SA.C.37/Pub/Quotations/2016 dated 29.9.2016) document may be downloaded from the Southern Railways website until 12 noon on October 6, 2016. The tender document has to be submitted before 3PM the same day and the tender bid document will open at 3:30PM on October 6 itself.

The quotation notice states: “The parties making offer shall indicate the space and location available in Railway premises including railway stations, platforms, concourse, FOBs, etc for displaying aesthetic advertisement in different mode such as boards, hoardings, glow sign boards, LED and wall paintings etc., which are secured in a safe manner.”

The license fee is to be paid upfront which is to be indicated on per sq. ft basis. “The area/locations with running contracts are excluded from its purview. The party has to bear all the installation and running costs. The installation should not disturb the existing structure advertisement / structure and general ambience. The offer should be equal or more than notified tariff rate attached with the quotation form.”
