Worldcom OOH appoints Lydia Collins as Head of International Business Development
The appointment follows the company’s decision to expand its operations in the UK
As part of its global expansion and opening of new operations in Europe, Worldcom OOH, a leading media trading company specialising in OOH, DOOH and programmatic, has announced the appointment of Lydia Collins as Head of International Business Development to lead its UK operation based in London.
“We welcome Lydia, a solid and experienced professional who joins the UK team as Worldcom OOH consolidates its position in the European market. The UK is the largest advertising investment market in Europe, where many multinational companies have their headquarters, making it not only a significant advertising market but also a strategic market for the development of Asia and the Middle East,” comments Fernando Vizcaíno, General Manager of the company.
“I am pleased and professionally challenged by this new stage in my career joining the team at Worldcom OOH, a globally recognised company that has been growing exponentially based on its two main pillars of technology and innovation. There is much to develop in the UK, from banking and finance to fintech as we have been seeing several new ‘set ups’ emerging such as online payment services, B2C and B2B – who have been investing in OOH sector communications. This is where we will focus our business development,” adds Lydia Collins, Head of International Business Development at Worldcom OOH in the UK.
Lydia Collins is a highly experienced professional in the media industry. She comes from Clear Channel UK where she was a national direct sales consultant. She has an additional 6 years experience working with other major UK OOH providers such as Exterion Media (now Global) and CBS Outdoor.
