Renault unveils iconic art installation at Delhi International Airport
The installation is done in partnership with OMD India and Osmo
On the eve of India’s 79th Independence Day, Renault India unveiled a striking 30 ft x 30 ft hand-painted art installation fused with the carmaker’s diamond-shaped logo near Terminal 3 of Indira Gandhi International Airport, Delhi.
The iconic installation is a bold statement and embodiment of the French carmaker’s India centric renault.rethink. transformation strategy. The landmark art installation serves not only as a tribute to India’s rich artistic heritage, but also as a reflection of Renault India’s unique Indo-French dual legacy.
The art piece illustration reimagines the grandeur of ancient Indian culture through the lens of contemporary street culture, music and youth expression. It blends iconic Delhi architecture with urban fashion, musical instruments and modern body language, creating a vibrant pop-futuristic narrative.
“This installation is more than art; it is a cultural dialogue. It is a heartfelt celebration of India’s vibrant culture, woven seamlessly with Renault’s French design sensibilities.” said Francisco Hidalgo, Vice President – Renault India. “Unveiling it on Independence Day is our tribute to the spirit of India — a nation rooted in tradition yet constantly reimagining its future.”
Commenting on the strategic placement and timing, Anisha Iyer, CEO of OMD India, said, “This unveiling was designed to create a deep, genuine connection with the people of India by capturing the nation’s essence as it stands today: entrenched in culture, yet confidently moving forward. By launching it on Independence Day, we’ve made Renault a part of a day that honors India’s past, celebrates its present, and inspires its future, aligning the brand with a sense of collective pride and progress.”
“It has been a privilege to bring Renault’s vision to life as envisaged. At OSMO, we take pride in delivering impactful executions that not only bring creative ideas to reality but also make them stand out, capturing the attention of travellers passing through and delivering moments that engage, excite and leave a lasting impression on each passerby,” said Nipun Arora, Co‑Founder of OSMO.
Strategically positioned at one of India’s busiest travel hubs, the installation invites millions of travellers to pause, reflect, and experience Renault’s unique take on creativity.
