Specsavers stretches OOH to its limit with Australia’s longest street poster

The campaign is executed on Swan Street, Richmond

Specsavers has taken its signature humour to scale, literally, by transforming Australia’s longest street poster site into a single, extended visual gag.

Executed on Swan Street in Richmond, the campaign takes over a 95-metre stretch of continuous poster panels, turning the entire site into one cohesive creative built around the brand’s core insight: eyesight mistakes.

The execution plays with the idea of “long-sighted” versus “short-sighted” in the most literal way possible. A series of 20+ connected panels stretch out the word “Loooooooooong sighted?” across one side of the street, while a single panel on the opposite side simply reads “Short sighted?” creating a visual contrast that can only be fully appreciated in the physical environment.

Created in-house by Specsavers Creative, the campaign uses the scale of the format itself as the idea, rather than relying on added technology or complexity. By treating multiple panels as one continuous canvas, the brand turns a standard street poster site into a high-impact storytelling format.
