R D Outdoor Media acquires display rights at Allahabad Railway Station
The station is the one of the largest railway junctions in the country, falling on the busy Howrah-Delhi main line and Howrah-Allahabad-Mumbai line
Allahabad-based R D Outdoor Media (RDOM) has acquired advertising rights inside the Allahabad Railway Station for the duration of three years. The contract covers two areas for displays — Civil Lines site circulating area and concourse area of station.
RDOM will put up 16 billboards / unipoles of different sizes. 15 display 4-sided boards will be up in the Civil Lines site circulating area, 12×4 glow signs in the Civil Lines site concourse area, five billboards / unipoles of different sizes and 20 4-sided display boards in the city site circulating area. Also, 5 glow signs of different sizes will be installed in the city site concourse area. All the media will be fully-lit.
RDOM maintains that this contract has key significance for the firm as the Allahabad railway junction falls on the Howrah-Delhi main line and Howrah-Allahabad-Mumbai line and important trains pass through this station. It is the third busiest railway junction in India. The railways make special arrangements at this station to manage the huge influx of pilgrims during the Kumbh Mela.
