OAAWB is working towards protecting the rights of media owners : Arup Choudhury
Speaking at East Talks OOH conference in Kolkata, Arup Choudhury, Secretary, OAA West Bengal shares how the association is taking key initiatives to transform the outdoor industry scenario.
Talking at the recently held East Talks OOH conference in Kolkata, Arup Choudhury, Secretary, OAA West Bengal presented his topic – “Are industry bodies leading OOH transformation in the east?’and shared how the 15 governing body members of the association are working for the overall development of outdoor vertical and trying to make it more organized.“The association is working towards more transparency of the system, where the media owners can receive the PO’s on time and payments are not further delayed,” said Arup.
He added, “The present membership of the organization stands at 148. The North 24 Parganas have also formed a body which has 29 registered members. We are having talks with North Bengal, where an association is being formed too. Also there will be the Malda, Durgapur, South 24 Parganas and the Howrah associations joining us soon. We are working on the SOP which has to be refined in better ways to further safeguard the rights of the media owners.”
