Of the 425 buses, 354 are big and 80 are small buses.
The Nagpur Mahanagar Parivahan Limited (NMPL) has initiated biding for licensing on composite ad-rights on Start City buses for the duration of two years. The base price of contract is Rs 7 lakh. The contract will allow the bidders to display advertisements on various places namely composite wrapping on the whole exterior of the buses, seat back branding through vinyl stickers, branding on polycarbonate/ABS grab handles inside the buses and advertising on LCD screens inside the buses. The last date of submission is March 15, 2013 and tender will be open on the same day.
