Anant East, CTO of Global OOH agency Talon, to address OAC 2022 on technology & OOH renaissance

Anant East leads Talon’s software engineering and support teams, delivering Talon’s proprietary technology platforms Plato, ADA and Atlas.

New technologies are redefining the contours of advertising businesses worldwide. The OOH sphere itself is witness to a surge of adtech solutions that have the potential to significantly strengthen this medium’s competitiveness. Anant East, Chief Technology Officer (CTO), Talon will be sharing his insights on this area in his address on the theme ‘‘How technology is shaping OOH renaissance’ at the upcoming Outdoor Advertising Convention (OAC) 2022, to be held at Westin, Powai Lake, Mumbai on August 17-18.

Anant East leads Talon’s, the market leading Global OOH agency, software engineering and support teams, delivering Talon’s proprietary technology platforms Plato, ADA and Atlas.

Plato aggregates all OOH inventory into a single campaign planning and delivery system. Ada is a Data Management Platform (DMP) – it’s the brains that enables advertisers to discover and target audiences based on observed interests rather than top-level demographics.  Atlas is Talon’s programmatic OOH platform and is the only Demand Side Platform (DSP) which leverages specialist data.

Anant has over 30 years of platform engineering and operations experience across the Media, Retail and Finance domains.  He played a lead role in the development of Global’s OOH trading platform AdFloe as well as its proof-of-play platform DigiPoP. Prior to his career in OOH he delivered and operated key elements of the train ticket booking website trainline.com, one of the first .com businesses in the UK.

Anant is an Accredited Member of the IPA (MIPA) as well as co-chair of standards at the UKs out of home body Outsmart.  At Outsmart he has played a lead role in delivery of the OpenDirect programmatic standards that are now adopted across the UK and USA.
