Kochi Metro delays the opening of advertising tender due to some changes
The authority has reduced the total advertising area outside the stations along with adding a new clause in Semi-Naming rights option due to which opening of tender has been delayed
Kochi Metro Rail Corporation has once again extended the opening date for Advertisement rights inside and outside station, trains and semi naming formats tender with some additional clarifications. Earlier, the tender was supposed to open on 15th November has been scheduled to open on 24th of this month. Also, the total advertising area in the station has been reduced to 3,029 sqm from 3,555 sqm due to the reduction in the minimum permissible advertising area outside the station.
Considering their client’s business interest, the authority has added a clause in Semi-Naming Rights option which says that the stations where semi-naming rights are awarded, advertisements of competitive brands in that particular station will not be permitted.
