‘India’s LED display industry set for 30-35% annual growth’
Media4Growth connected with Gaurav Khurana, Owner of Newtech Video Systems Pvt. Ltd., to understand how the LED display industry is navigating GST changes while discussing the emerging trends and growth opportunities shaping the sector’s future.

While the government’s move toward a single GST slab has stirred mixed reactions across sectors, the LED display industry seems relatively unfazed, at least according to Gaurav Khurana, Owner of Newtech Video Systems Pvt. Ltd. An experienced professional in the LED signage industry, Gaurav believes the latest GST changes won’t significantly disrupt market dynamics, especially among corporates driving large-scale demand.
“For corporates, GST doesn’t matter, whether it’s 18% or even 50%. The real impact will be felt by those operating without GST registration. For them, the cost calculation changes, and that’s where demand patterns will shift,” Gaurav explains.
The move toward a single GST stream, he says, will bring a much-needed level playing field across the ecosystem. “Earlier, there was a big pricing gap. Some players sold at ₹28.18, others at ₹18.18, creating a difference of up to ₹20 lakhs on a ₹2 crore project. As the structure gets streamlined, the grey area will shrink. This move will bring uniformity to the market.”
Industry growth outlook
Gaurav in fact remains positive on the LED display sector, predicting a 30–35% year-on-year growth in both outdoor and indoor retail applications over the next four years.
“The market is in a very good place. Demand is growing across retail, corporate, and experiential spaces. For anyone entering now, the next 2–3 years are going to be highly profitable,” he asserts.
Newtech Video Systems, which operates pan-India with strong verticals in Mumbai and Hyderabad, is already gearing up to capture this next growth wave. The company also runs an international arm in Dubai, further expanding its footprint in global display integration.
The takeaway
The new GST regime may be shaking up many industries, but for professionals like Gaurav Khurana, it’s simply another step toward market maturity. As transparency increases and demand continues to surge, India’s LED display sector appears ready to shine brighter than ever.
