RD Outdoor bags sole rights of Allahabad City railway station

Allahabad-based RD Outdoor has bagged the sole rights over the hoardings, kiosks and hanging boards of Allahabad City/Ramgarh railway station, also known as Ramgarh Station. The city of Allahabad has three main railway stations, among which RD has outdoor rights of two stations including Allahabad Main. The rights have been passed over from Shanti Advertising after the latest tendering process.

Talking more on the proprietorship, Amit Agarwal, MD, RD Outdoor, informed, “At Ramgarh Station, we have a total hoarding space of 10,400 sq ft, 50 kiosks and 15 hanging boards. RD also has the traffic crossing’s sole rights in the city along with 24 bus shelters and 50 rooftop hoardings.

Responding on the stir that is happening across UP, due to laws imposed by Municipal Corporations, Agarwal added, “Allahabad is still not part of any new set of rules. However, new rules are being formed but I don’t think they can be implemented because they do not abide by Municipal Corporation Act 1959. Some of the brands that are already on display are Surf, Max Infrastructures, Akash Institute etc. “This is the ideal time of the year to gain the proprietorship of a railway station as busy as Ramgarh. Due to Diwali, all our OOH space is already booked as this is a potential time for brands to publicise, Agarwal concluded.
