Madras High Court has ruled that agencies will have to seek the approval of the corporation authorities for the hoardings within the railway premises

Dismissing a big batch of petitions filed by hoarding owners and agencies, the first bench comprising Chief Justice Sanjay KishanKaul and Justice T S Sivagnanam said: “It shall be your responsibility to obtain permission, permit and licence from the municipal corporation or any other government or local departments for display, as and when required, so as not to contravene any rule or law of the land.”
