GHMC curbs outdoor advertising in Hyderbad until Aug 14
The notification was issued to the media firms, mandating them to remove the flexes from all the formats put up on the streets until the curbs are withdrawn
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has taken a precautionary safety measure by placing curbs on outdoor advertising in the city of Hyderabad until August 14 in view of the stormy weather conditions that prevail in the monsoon season. Extreme weather conditions could damage the outdoor formats, in turn posing potential risk to the people moving on the streets.
The authority’s commissioner B Janardhan Reddy has mandated the curbs on OOH formats like hoardings, unipoles, uni-structures, arches, FOBs, cantilevers, etc.
The notification was issued to the media firms, mandating them to remove the flexes from all the formats put up on the streets, within 24 hours.
