Ghaziabad dist body bringing down unauthorised sites
More than 50% of outdoor sites in the city are reportedly unauthorised
Ghaziabad district administration has launched a drive to bring down unauthorised unipoles, banners and hoardings in the city of Ghaziabad in observance of ‘Swachh Survekshan’ that is directed at improving the cleanliness of the city and safety of people on the road. As per the authority records more than 50 such sites have been taken down so far.
According to the administration, more than 50% of outdoor media in the city are unauthorised. Also the district administration is working in tandem municipal corporation which handles the right to allotment to make sure that no legal site are affected in this course of cleanliness drive.
