Location Media Xchange (LMX), a leading enterprise software provider for OOH media owners and part of the Moving Walls Group, has announced a partnership with Up Media, the leading elevator DOOH media owner in Thailand.

LMX partnership with Up Media

This strategic alliance adds more than 700 screens to LMX’s programmatic DOOH reach in Thailand, further establishing the group’s position as the largest DOOH marketplace in Asia, states an LMX company release.

Distinguished as a key player in the realm of lift media in Thailand, Up Media has the vision to become the premier lift media provider across the ASEAN region covering shopping malls,  residences and office buildings. “This aligns perfectly with the Moving Walls Group, headquartered in Singapore and having a physical presence across every ASEAN market,” states the release.

“The partnership also expands the presence of Moving Hearts, which connects charities and community organisations to last-minute OOH media inventory in an automated manner. The initiative has amplified communication for a host of charity partners including In Youths United for Earth (YUFE), Dementia Singapore, Sokong, Breast Cancer Foundation, The Safe Space Foundation, Saigon Children, Simply Giving, among many others,” LMX maintains.

Recently, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Moving Hearts launched a campaign for Healthy Malaysia that provided breast cancer screenings through a scannable QR code on digital displays with a message urging the importance of early detection.

Joey Zhou, Founder & CEO of Up Media Thailand, expresses optimism about the partnership, stating, “Programmatic digital Out-Of-Home is no longer a new concept, but I believe this new partnership will foster strong understanding and acceptance of pDOOH among brand owners and agencies in Thailand. With the onboarding of Up Media’s premium brand impact, LMX is now able to reach top premium audiences and deliver real impact for their clients.”

Jan Harling, the CEO of Virtus Asia Consulting, who is consulting Up Media emphasised the significance of the partnership with LMX . “The expansive rollout of programmatic DOOH through Up Media across premium shopping malls, high-end residences and office buildings in Thailand holds immense potential for brands and agencies alike who seek a new and potent media option. Our collaboration with LMX is poised to offer an exciting gateway, extending access to premium audiences in exclusive locations to a broader spectrum of partners. We are looking forward to deepen this relationship.”

“We are proud to enter this partnership with Up Media, a rare digital-first media owner who is quick to adopt emerging technology,” said Srikanth Ramachandran, Founder and Group CEO at Moving Walls. “This collaboration will go beyond just elevating brand experiences to amplify positive community messages through Moving Hearts, which has already launched in India, Malaysia, Singapore, and Vietnam.”
