Mark Metro to introduce DOOH media at Chennai Metro stations before Pongal
The company had experimented with a few DOOH screens during the Diwali festival
Chennai-based media owning firm Mark Metro plans to introduce digital OOH screens on the Chennai Metro network. The company holds media rights on the network and had put up digital screens at a select locations on an experimental basis. The Chennai Metro Rail Corporation (CMRL) has urged the company to opt for new age display solutions at the stations.
In an exclusive conversation with Media4Growth, R. Balamurugan, General Manager – Sales, Mark Metro Group, said, “At the time of Diwali, we experimented with digital OOH displays to test the market. Fortunately, we got a positive response from advertising clients in different categories including real estate. Now, we are working to add more digital OOH media displays on the Metro network.”
“We would like to introduce the new displays at the time of the upcoming Pongal festival in Tamil Nadu,” he said.
The company handles exclusive media rights at 32 Chennai Metro stations.
