OAC 2024 to shine the light on ‘Navigating the new frontiers’ of OOH business

A galaxy of achievers and business leaders will address the 18th OOH Advertising Convention (OAC) being organised at Hilton Garden Inn, Bengaluru on July 26-27. The convention will not only generate deep discussions on the emerging growth opportunities that beckon OOH, but also bring in the perspectives of achievers in different walks of life – that resonate with the aspirations of the OOH pathfinders.

Accomplished actor Manoj Joshi will be sharing his thoughts on the theme ‘Breaking the stereotype to emerge a winner’, while narrating facets of his own inspirational journey in the world of cinema and theatre. 27-time World Snooker & Billiards champion Pankaj Advani will be delivering the Valedictory address on the theme ‘Taking a cue from life lessons to scale peak of excellence’.

On a different note, Rajeev Raja, Founder & Soundsmith, BrandMusiq will take the audience into the world of music and how that melds with advertising.

OAC 2024 has five international speakers who are all global leaders in their own right: Tom Goddard, President, World Out of Home Organization; Charles Parry-Okeden, Independent Chair, Outdoor Media Association & MOVE, Australia; Melanie Lindquist, MD, Talon Asia Pacific, Singapore; Dino Burbidge, Innovation Consultant, based in the UK; and Dan Durling, Managing Director, Alight Media, the UK.

Across the two days, some of the most accomplished brand marketers will be speaking on different themes. They are: Kedar Ravangave, Strategic Marketer (CPG, Ecommerce and Fintech); Ashish Mishra, CMO, ACKO; Rahul Tandon, Business Head (Commercial & Industrial), BPCL; Ashwath Swaminathan, CMO, Swiggy; Ashish Morone, SVP & Head- Brand Marketing communications, HDFC Bank; Pramod Patil, VP & Head – Media, Kotak Mahindra Group; Anirudha Haldar, Sr VP Marketing, TVS Motors; Ankur Malhotra, Head of Marketing & Omni-Channel Strategy, Bridgestone India; Apurva Sircar, Sr VP & Head – Marketing, Bandhan Bank; and Aishwarya Pratap Singh, Chief Business Officer – Yoga Bar, ITC Foods.

From the OOH industry, the sessions will be addressed by Shekhar Narayanaswami, CEO, Times Innovative Media; Nabendu Bhattacharyya, Founder & CEO, ideacafe; Jayesh Yagnik, CEO, MOMS Outdoor; and Raheel Amjad, CBO, Adani Airport Holdings.

IOAA Chairman Pawan Bansal will speak in a session focused wholly on the apex body’s initiatives for the industry. This year, the Quintessential OOH Quiz will be conducted by celebrated Quiz Master, Adittya Nath Mubayi, Co-founder, Quizcraft Global.

Day 1 of the event will conclude with the IOAA Pinnacle OOH Awards, and Day 2 with the OOH Advertising Awards.All through the sessions, participants will get to engage in contests and have the chance of winning attractive prizes.

Alongside OAC 2024, the OOH Expo will be held. In a first, OAC will be also giving away the Indian OOH Business Achievers Awards to pathbreaking OOH firms.
