Arkaprava ‘Arko’ Ray, Head – Marketing Strategy, HSBC India has joined an eminent group of business leaders as part of the jury for the Outdoor Advertising Awards (OAA) 2023.
Speaking on the occasion, Arkaprava said “With the ever-changing ad landscape, the consumer never changes. We might go digital but outdoor will always remain a larger than life medium which creates a huge impact in the consumers mind. It is very important to celebrate this medium in all the clutter around different formats and OAA recognizes that”.
Prior to joining HSBC, Arko worked with the likes of Aviva and Reliance. In his current role, he heads the Marketing Strategy for HSBC in India, leading a team of senior marketers who provide innovative and disruptive solutions to complex business problems. He is well known for creating popular IPs like HSBC StarStruck, GoGreen Cyclothon, HSBC Golf League among others.
When asked about his expectations from this year’s contest, Arko commented “To appreciative innovation in this medium and how even a small budget on outdoor if worked well can be effective and go viral”.
Apart from driving innovative marketing solutions, Arko is a footballer and fitness enthusiast with a keen interest for adventure sports.
