Live IPL updates on Mumbai airport DOOH screens create strong branding opportunities
MCX, Nihilent Technologies partner Times OOH in showcasing the IPL cricket updates on digital screens at T2, Mumbai Airport.
As the Indian Premier League (IPL) matches got underway, Times OOH introduced live cricket score updates on its DOOH networks inside Mumbai airport. Further, MCX and Nihilent Technologies have taken up sponsorship of the cricket update on digital screens at T2, Mumbai Airport. Times OOH has made available similar sponsorship opportunities at other airports and Metro networks where the OOH firm holds advertising rights.
The content comprises real-time score updates, team standings, and upcoming matches. The digital screens have 70% cricket content and 30% for brand ad display.
Sumit Chadha, Business Head, Mumbai Airport – Times OOH, said, “This is a most wanted sports programme for we Indians. It is a 50-55 day event capturing millions of eyeballs. Indian consumers like to track matches while they are on the move and our properties offer high dwell time to premium audiences. This innovatively designed content attracts attention along the travel path. The real-time cricket score update and fixtures on the digital screens provide compelling content to travelers. It is indeed a great brand connect and offers a high brand recall. So, brands must take advantage of this opportunity.”
